Spencer’s, one of the best luxury spas, has opened a brand new location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The spa, which originally opened in California, has been branching out across the coast, to New York.
Last fall, the spa opened a chic SoHo location that meets the vibe of lower Manhattan. Clean, sharp, and most importantly, in a central location on Broadway. However, now the news gets even better–with a premiere Brooklyn location that allows guests to embrace the dynamite Williamsburg energy.
The Williamsburg location feels intimate and warm, inspired by the quiet elegance of a traditional ryokan. Exposed wood beams, shoji doors, and private skylights come together to create the ultimate hip yet peaceful surroundings.
The space was designed by founder Ryan McCarthy in collaboration with Jessica Blumberg of Dale Interiors, and as a guest of the spa, I could immediately tell not only that this spa was channeling Brooklyn vibes, but that, upon entry, my body subconsciously relaxed and felt ready to release ruminating energy.
Upon my visit, I had the Detox Facial, and the experience guaranteed this will be the only facial I receive moving forward. The facial is a purifying ritual that clears congestion, balances excess oil, and resets city-tired skin. With deep cleansing, clay refinement, and circulation-boosting massage, it leaves the complexion clarified, calm, and comfortably matte.
In a way, it felt as if my skin was pulled off and cleaned from the inside out–graphic, I know, but my skin has never felt better. With 60- and 90-minute options, you will leave with glowing, and most importantly, healthy skin!
